Croatia Airlines is set to expand its network with the introduction of new routes to Dubrovnik and Split for the 2026 summer season. The airline will commence operations between Dubrovnik and Stuttgart on May 4, with twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays, initially using the Airbus A319, though the A220-300 will be deployed during the first week. This route was previously served by Germanwings and Eurowings from 2012 to 2019, and briefly by Air Berlin and TUIfly. For the Split-Nantes route, Croatia Airlines plans to launch flights on May 5, with twice-weekly services on Tuesdays and Fridays, utilizing a mix of A220-100 and A220-300 aircraft. This route will be a direct competitor to Volotea, which operates two weekly rotations between the two cities. Nantes becomes Croatia Airlines' third destination in France, joining Paris and Lyon, and the airline will now offer four routes to the country, including Zagreb-Paris, Split-Paris, Split-Lyon, and the newly added Split-Nantes. Additionally, Croatia Airlines aims to resume several seasonal routes for the upcoming summer season, including Zagreb-Madrid, Zagreb-Hamburg, Zagreb-Prague, Zagreb-Bucharest, and Tirana, with some adjustments in schedules. The airline also plans to increase frequencies on several routes next summer, such as Zagreb-Vienna, Zagreb-Munich, Osijek-Munich, and Osijek-Split, to better serve its customers during the peak travel season.
