A stunning display of dominance! The Brooklyn Nets put on a clinic against the Milwaukee Bucks, routing them by a staggering 45 points, matching the franchise record for the biggest victory margin.
Egor Demin and Noah Clowney led the charge with 17 and 16 points respectively, as the Nets never looked back from the opening tip-off. This blowout win ties the team's record set back in 1993, when they were still based in New Jersey.
But here's where it gets controversial... The Nets, who started the season with a disappointing 3-13 record, have now won four out of their last six games. And this turnaround has been particularly impressive at home, where they've snapped their nine-game losing streak with three wins in their last four games.
With head coach Jordi Fernandez missing due to illness, assistant coach Steve Hetzel stepped up and directed the team to this impressive victory.
On the other side, the Bucks, without their star player Giannis Antetokounmpo who is nursing a calf strain, struggled to keep up. Gary Trent Jr. and Kyle Kuzma tried to keep the Bucks in the game, but to no avail.
The Nets' shooting was on fire, hitting 56.5% of their shots in the first half, and a 24-11 run in the third quarter put the game out of reach.
So, what do you think? Is this a sign of a Nets resurgence, or just a blip on the radar? The Bucks will look to bounce back against Toronto on Thursday, while the Nets host Miami in what could be another exciting matchup.
Don't miss out on the action!
