FAQs
From what I've been able to find, SaluSpa is the same spa. It might be a different color (black instead of green?) but both are Coleman spas. I've seen them called "Bestway" instead of Coleman, too, but those seem to both be Coleman companies.
How does SaluSpa Freeze Shield work? ›
It automatically increases water circulation and heats up to 10°C when outside temperatures drop below 6°C. This prevents the water from freezing and causing damage to the pipes or liner.
How long do inflatable hot tubs last? ›
Unfortunately, many inflatable hot tubs are neglected, abused, and thrown away after just a few years of service. They don't all end up that way, but in general, inflatable hot tubs tend to have a shorter lifespan. With proper care and maintenance, they can last five years or longer.
Do inflatable hot tubs use a lot of electricity? ›
The third reason is that they are not as energy efficient as traditional hot tubs; this means that you may be spending more money on electricity, in the long run, to heat your portable spa tub.
What is the life expectancy of a hot tub pump? ›
Most hot tub pumps and heaters will be able to last for a minimum of 7-10 years in well-maintained, well-balanced water. In poorly balanced water, however, their lifespan can be drastically reduced as key components break down.
How do I know if my hot tub pump is bad? ›
There are several signs of hot tub pump failure:
- Humming noise from motor not turning, frozen shaft, bearings or impeller, or defective starting capacitor.
- Whining noise from worn bearings.
- Leaks under the pump from a failure of the pump seals.
Should I leave hot tub pump run all the time? ›
The hot tub circulation pump serves as the heart of your hot tub, responsible for circulating and filtering the water to maintain its clarity and cleanliness. By continuously running the pump, you ensure the distribution of heat throughout the spa, maintaining a consistent temperature and preventing any cold spots.
Should I leave my inflatable hot tub on all the time? ›
We advise leaving your inflatable hot tub on all the time to maintain proper water chemistry and temperature. This way, it will be ready for use whenever you like. Just remember to keep the cover on when not in use to conserve energy and keep debris out.
How cold is too cold for an inflatable hot tub? ›
Can Inflatable Hot Tubs Be Used in Winter? The short answer is yes, you can use your inflatable spa in the winter. However, if you're leaving it set up and running, inflatable models struggle to maintain their water temperature once the outside temp drops below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Should I leave my hot tub jets on all the time? ›
One of the most common questions our team gets asked is "should I leave my hot tub on all the time?" Quite simply, the answer is yes... your hot tub is designed to be left switched on constantly and works best when it is left on all the time. Your hot tub is at it's most efficient if left to run 24/7.
Noisy Pump: The pump can make loud, odd sounds, such as gurgling, sputtering, or high-pitched whining sounds, which can indicate that there is air trapped in the system. Reduced Water Flow: It may appear that the water flow is significantly lower or that there is weak water pressure coming from the jets.
How can I make my SaluSpa heat faster? ›
Always put on the thermo cover. Leaving the cover on traps heat and help warm up the water quicker. In addition to your thermo cover you could also add a floating spa cover. This can boost your hot tub's insulation efficiency, blocks heat loss and speeds up heating process.
Why are the jets not working in my inflatable hot tub? ›
If there is too little water, air could be working its way into the system through the jets. If you've checked your filter, water level, and the issue persists, you may have a clog in the line, or your pump is simply reaching the end of its lifetime and should be repaired or replaced.
